There, she served as an aircraft maintenance engineer, diligently performing maintenance on various aircraft models including Bell 206 series, Eurocopter AS350, and McDonnel Douglas MD500. In 2006, Shari relocated to Antigua, but she continued to travel back to Canada for work purposes. In 2008, she secured a position as an Aviation Consultant at Carnall Richmond, where she provided invaluable support to the company's contracts, ensuring smooth operations in Antigua until 2013. Subsequently, Shari assumed the role of quality manager at Caribbean Helicopters, where she remained until 2019. Following her tenure at Caribbean Helicopters, Shari transitioned to Blue Harbour Helicopters. Over the course of four arduous years, she diligently obtained approvals from ECCAA, secured a suitable operating location, assembled a competent staff (including one of the few licensed Antiguan helicopter mechanical engineers), and acquired her own Antiguan Engineer license, all in preparation to establish her own business. In addition to her remarkable professional achievements, Shari takes immense pride in her role as a parent alongside her partner Tanner, raising their children Carrack and Tyden. Furthermore, in 2019, she was granted Antiguan citizenship, further solidifying her connection to the country.
